2025 July 7th, Courage Canvas Delivers Cards to Patients at Christian Hospital!

Our youth volunteers had a rewarding time delivering 70+ cards to patients at Christian Hospital! Our cards were thoughtfully crafted with meaningful messages and illustrations to support patients and provide comfort during difficult times. Volunteers entered patient rooms and delivered each card. We were incredibly moved by how a small gesture can put such a big smile on a patient's face. Numerous patients noted how our cards "made their day", and one even exclaimed, "Your cards are so beautiful, thank you so much! I'll be sure to show these to my sister when she visits and share with her all the talent and joy you all bring. This just made my day."

2025 July 4th, Courage Canvas Kickstarts the "Speak Up for Health" Class Series!

We are delighted to announce that Courage Canvas will be kickstarting the "Speak Up for Health" class series! To learn more about this class, please visit the "Programs" page. Teacher and manager orientation was hosted, and we are planning a month of enriching activities, exercises, and learning experiences for the students. By the end of this course, we hope students take away a greater sense of self, a more powerful belief in their voice, and health-related awareness to bring back to their family and community.

2025 June 28th, Courage Canvas Volunteers at Urban League

Our volunteers had a rewarding experience volunteering with the Urban League of Metropolitan Saint Louis. We contributed to serving ~1000 families as we distributed various foods and items for families who have been affected by the May 16th tornado disaster. One volunteer noted, "I really enjoyed seeing the smiles on everyone's faces as I handed out foods. They were very grateful for our service, and I'm really glad that my small action could have made a bigger difference in their lives." If you're interested in learning more about Urban League's work, you can visit their website here: https://www.ulstl.com/?gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=19735545803&gbraid=0AAAAAolRKgO5AIKNrIcg85Syjk8L59qQX&gclid=Cj0KCQjwyIPDBhDBARIsAHJyyViNqh_KgOysrbwlS1ahPcJSwUGyzNggJSUZX26JDiBDq2FUs_-KW2kaAtkSEALw_wcB#/. 2025 June 5th, Courage Canvas Donates ~260 Books

Our volunteers collected ~260 books to donate to local organizations. Our books spanned several grade levels and ranged from vocabulary workbooks to intriguing chapter books. We were happy to collaborate with The Little Bit Foundation and Southside Early Childhood Center to deliver the books. Please contact us if you would like to receive any books donations!
